Rock Lake was a interesting and unique project. This was a lake home but it wasnt utilizing the lakes beauty when we first saw it. The house was a very "closed in" feeling to it and the only view of the lake was through the living room window at the rear of the house. This visibilty was also limited as there were walls throught the house and the lake could only be viewed in the living room.
The end result was an open concept well flowing ranch style home with a sunken living room. We added 2 pation doors to the rear of the house for a better view of the water from the living room and master bedroom. The rear of the house as it existed had no entertainment area so we added a full width concrete patio with interlocking block retainer wall to give the owner a place to enjoy the view and entertain guests.
Once completed the house boasted laminate wood flooring througout, new kitchen layout and counters, we added an additional master bathroom, renovated the exisitng bathroom, new siding, concrete driveway and sidewalks, also on the interior we replaced all the trim, base, case and doors. This turned out to be a spectacular home boasting the new owner over 50K in equity!
