This was the most detailed and sofisticated single family projects we have undertaken to date. Every aspect of the construction of this new home was done by us. It started as a 400 sq. ft. cabin with no water and no sewer. The floors were rotted as they were exposed to the elements, the roof was in bad shape everything about it was in disrepair.
A complete demolition and rebuild was the best solution. So we demolished the existing structure, had a septic system and well installed on site, began the foundation work and regrading for the preperation of the granite boulder retainer wall. After all this ground work was set in place we could begin construction of this 3800 sq ft 3 level log home.
The sheer size of this home is enough to make you look but once your inside its the intricate details and time spent on the little things that sets itself apart from the rest.
You will not enter or leave a room without a simple light switch being within your reach at any entry way in any room. Entirely wired for a home control central monitering system to notify you if a pipe burst, heats out, or you left the refridgerator door open!
In addition to these details you have the highest of the highest quality materials. Premium preffered pine interior boards, the custom made walnut countertop that matches up perfect because the time was spent to find the perfect lumber that came from the same tree. The log staircase leading both upward and downward. 94% efficient mechanicals, and energy conserving appliances. All cedar closets and cedar decking. Low-E casement style windows and doors. Custom built solid knotty pine arched interior doors and 10' ceilings.
